MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII -- Marines from 1st Battalion, 12th Marines will conduct blank live-fire practice at Dewey Square 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, in preparation for the 1/12 deactivation ceremony Friday, May 26. The deactivation ceremony will also include blank live-fire cannons from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Several live-fire blanks will be fired continuously during both of these time intervals. The graphic below shows the roads that will close and location of road guards present to alert drivers and facilitate this blank live-firing.
