MCBH PUBLIC ADVISORY -- Exercise Sentry Aloha

Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay -- The Hawaii Air National Guard will be conducting exercise Sentry Aloha May 29th-June 6th aboard MCAS Kaneohe Bay. Sentry Aloha is an exercise that provides realistic combat training for Hawaii based service members, enabling them to perform homeland defense and combat missions. Residents and service members may see an increase in military aircraft during scheduled flight times. Thank you for your patience and understanding. MCBH PUBLIC ADVISORY - MOKAPU RD AND HARRIS AVE TRAFFIC LIGHT PATTERN CHANGE (APRIL 22)

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Starting the morning of Monday, April 22, the traffic lights at Mokapu Rd. and Harris Ave. will be transitioning from flashing red to fully operational light patterns. Hawaii Based MV-22 Squadrons Return to Flight Status

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – As early as next week, Hawaii-based MV-22 Osprey squadrons assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, expect to begin executing flight operations as the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has deemed the aircraft safe to fly. The MV-22 squadrons will adhere to the Marine Corps’ three-phased approach, which begins with a focus on regaining proficiency in Core and Basic skills for pilots and aircrew. Squadrons will then follow well-established training and readiness manuals, standard operating procedures, and best practices to demonstrate the skills reinforced in phase one. Upon completion of the first two phases of skill development and demonstration, squadrons will progress toward conducting specific pre-deployment training programs – to include flight operations in the local area – in preparation for their next assigned missions.

MCBH PUBLIC ADVISORY – Waterfront Operations Oil Spill Drill (Nov. 17, 2023)

Waterfront Operations will be executing a small-scale Hazardous Spill Response Drill from 0900-1200 on Nov. 17. The Drill will take place in the water near outfall 22 and will be executing spill containment and recovery between the Marine Corps Base Hawaii and Coconut Island and lastly securing a portion of Coconut Island (Southeast entrance).

MCBH PUBLIC ADVISORY - Marines to conduct JPMRC exercise across Oahu (Nov. 1-10)

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII -- Marines from across MCBH will be participating in a large-scale readiness training exercise called the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC), Nov. 1-10, primarily on the islands of Oahu and Hawaii. MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII -- Marines with Marine Aircraft Group 24 will be conducting a funeral flyover with MV-22 Ospreys over the Honolulu National Cemetery 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2023. The funeral is for Navy Cross recipient, Sgt. Arthur B. Ervin, who was killed in action during the Battle for Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands.To register any

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII -- The portion of Harris Avenue from Chow Circle to Mokapu Road (highlighted in the image below) will be closed intermittently from Aug. 28 through Sept. 29 for repaving. The specific closure dates are as follows: (Aug. 28-Sept. 1) Southbound lane closed from Chow Circle to Mokapu Road. (Sept. 13-14) Both lanes closed
