August 22, 2016 -- CAMP H.M. SMITH, Hawaii – Residents living near Marine Corps Base Hawaii on the Kaneohe Bay side should anticipate a brief increase in noise the mornings of Aug. 25 and 26, 2016.
During this time, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific will conduct a Change of Command rehearsal and ceremony that include artillery fire. Two rounds will be fired shortly after 7:00 a.m. Aug. 25 and 17 rounds will be fired between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. Aug. 26.
