As thousands will be setting their sights on the 42nd Marine Corps Marathon on Oct. 22 in Arlington, VA and throughout the nation’s capital, special Four Star registration packages offering a spectacular weekend at the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, MD will soon be available. 

The Four Star packages are limited in number and will open for registration at www.marinemarathon.com starting tomorrow, Feb. 1 at noon Eastern. 

The 2017 Four Star package includes the coveted guaranteed entry to the 42nd MCM with option for a second entry to the Marathon or the MCM10K; two-night stay at the Gaylord National Resort, free parking and access to MCM Weekend events from Oct. 20-22. The events include the MCM Weekend Kickoff celebration on Friday, Oct. 20; delightful brunch with featured speaker and the pre-MCM pasta dinner known as the Carbo Dining In on Saturday, Oct. 21. Also prior to the Dining In, Four Star participants will enjoy an exclusive reception hosted in their honor by the MCM Director. 

Other highlights of the Four Star package include Packet Pick-up “Fast Pass” for the Health & Fitness Expo during MCM Weekend; two Metro Smartrip cards; two free Marathon downloadable images; two tickets for the Capital Wheel; exclusive luxury shuttle service to the MCM start in Arlington, VA and access to the Four Star tent at Runners Village on Marathon morning. 

The Four Star packages are $1,800 and non-refundable. Additional nights can be added during registration for the MCM Four Star program. 

Those not participating in the Four Star registration program can make reservations at the Gaylord National, the MCM headquarters hotel, beginning in February at www.marinemarathon.com. 

MCM Lottery registration opens to the public beginning March 22 and through March 29 at www.marinemarathon.com. 

The 42nd MCM will be held in Arlington, VA and throughout the nation’s capital.
