MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – On Saturday, July 30th, and Monday, August 1st, U.S. Marines and partner nation forces will conduct training operations in the vicinity of Pyramid Rock Beach and the MCAS Kaneohe Bay flightline aboard MCBH. Training will include amphibious operations, simulated fire missions, and aviation support from aircraft. Base personnel and residents can expect an increase in noise as a result of the training being conducted.
From 0830 to 1130 on the morning of July 30th and August 1st, the portion of Mokapu Road that crosses the MCAS Kaneohe Bay flightline will be closed. Personnel whose assigned place of duty is located on the west side of the flightline should plan accordingly and utilize Mokapu Road before 0830 or after 1130. Pyramid Rock Beach will be closed to recreational use during this time.
