III MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE, Oahu, HI -- Marines and Sailors with Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit invite the public to a free tactical demonstration Jan. 19 at Kalaeloa Airport, Oahu, Hawaii.
Reconnaissance Marines will perform a high value target interdiction on the Naval Air Museum Barbers Point’s runway. People can expect to see a military working dog takedown and helicopters during the demonstration. Afterwards, you can meet those Marines and ask them questions about their duties and responsibilities. There will also be an opportunity to view the equipment used.
The tactical demonstration begins at 10:00am. Static displays of aircraft, to include a C-130, H-60 and P-3, are open until 1:00pm. Parking is free, first come first serve and in front of Hangar 111 on Midway street.
