MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII - Sgt. Kyle Dougherty, a field radio operator with 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, Sgt. Jordan Rodriguez, a cyber network operator with 1st Bn., 3rd Marines and Sgt. Craig Coursin, a data network specialist with 1st Bn., 3rd Marines, stand beside their unit sign aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Nov. 5, 2015. These Marines sailors rushed across the street to the scene where Robin Lopes, a sixth grade teacher at Mokapu Elementary School, was lying on the ground after she had a bicycle accident in the school parking lot. “I’ll always tell people from now on if they were to get hurt, pray there is a Marine Corps base around because literally a corpsman came and I was surrounded by Marines,” Lopes said.
