PDTC is a 3 day course to train chaplains and religious program specialists by working together in their units to facilitate various faith groups and allowing them to freely practice their religion. Clark Henry, spread Henry’s ashes as part of his memorial service on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Feb. 21, 2023. Henry enlisted during World War II, received a field commission during the Korean War and received a Silver Star during the Vietnam War. The memorial service included a tour of the 1st Marine Division command post and a tour of Camp Pendleton’s Landing Vehicle Tracked Museum.\ - Retired U.S. Marine Col. The 13th MEU is embarked on the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of the Makin Island and amphibious transport dock ships USS John P.
