If you had asked a 15 or 16-year-old Meleah Martin what she wanted to do after high school, her answer probably would have included earning a scholarship to play lacrosse at the collegiate level and a nice career outside of the military. Little did she know that just over seven years later she would be a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet pilot. “I was born and raised in Walkersville, Maryland, and lived on the same street my entire life through high school,” said Capt.
