The 2/3 Marines are among the ship's approximately 1,600 military personnel participating in Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2010. As the world's largest multi-lateral maritime exercise, RIMPAC was designed to improve integration and interoperability as well as prepare forces for a wide range of potential operations and missions.
