Draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)
Demolition of an Abandoned Pier at
MCBH, Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii

Pursuant to the Council on Environmental Quality Regulations implementing the National Environmental Policy Act, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), provides notice that a Draft FONSI has been prepared, based on an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the demolition of an abandoned pier at MCBH, Kaneohe Bay.

The Draft FONSI considers findings from consultations conducted pursuant to Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act and the Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) provisions of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, regarding potential impacts to endangered species and essential fish habitat from the proposed demolition.
