MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII -- From 0800 to 1300 on Wednesday, August 11th, U.S. Marines will conduct simulated close air support drills on Marine Corps Base Hawaii. During this training, aircraft will be flying over the base at lower altitudes than normal, which will result in louder than usual aircraft noise. Pilots are limiting their time over land, and will avoid flying directly over Kailua or Kaneohe.
