MCBH PUBLIC ADVISORY - MAG-24 training near Tripler Army Medical Center (Feb. 15)
MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Elements of the U.S. Army’s 8th Forward Surgical Team and Marine Aircraft Group 24 will conduct a simulated aerial medical evacuation from Marine Corps Base Hawaii – Kaneohe Bay to Tripler Army Medical Center tomorrow afternoon. The training focuses on providing medical care at the point of injury and during air travel, and transferring the patient to the hospital for higher levels of care. Members of the public may notice a temporary increase in noise from military aircraft. Pilots will intentionally limit their time flying over heavily populated areas to what is necessary for training purposes.
