MCBH PUBLIC ADVISORY - Mokapu Gate full closure (Jan. 31)
Beginning Monday, January 31st, the Mokapu Gate (back gate) aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii will be fully closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic for approximately 5 months. The closure is required for construction of the gate and associated facilities. During the closure, access to and from MCBH will be exclusively via the H-3 front gate. To expedite the flow of increased traffic entering base from 0600-0900 Monday-Friday, one outbound lane will be used as a third inbound lane. Please follow all signs and PMO instruction directing traffic. The only access to the Pass House (Bldg. 1637) from 0600-0900 will be from the far right inbound lane. Only base access services will be provided at this time.

MCBH PUBLIC ADVISORY - U.S. Air Force A-10 and C-130 aircraft training out of MCAS Kaneohe Bay (Dec. 2-18)
MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – U.S. Air Force A-10 and C-130 aircraft from AATC (Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve Test Center) will be utilizing Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay and the airspace surrounding Marine Corps Base Hawaii, December 2-18, 2021. During this time these aircraft will be supporting multiple training exercises across Hawaii. As these aviation platforms do not generally fly out of MCAS Kaneohe Bay, aviation noise in the area may be louder than usual. Pilots will intentionally limit their time flying over heavily populated areas to what is necessary for training purposes.
