MCBH PUBLIC NOISE ADVISORY -- MAG-24 to Conduct MV-22B Osprey Operations

Marine Corps Base Hawaiʻi – Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 24 will conduct MV 22B Osprey flight operations in the vicinity of Fort Hase Beach on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm in support of routine training requirements.

MCBH Conducts Jump Operations

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAI’I – U.S. Marines with 4th, 3rd and 1st Reconnaissance Battalions will be conducting jump operations on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, starting at 1130. The training will include the use of water vessels and red smoke. One water vessel will be located at the Sampan channel and another at the MCBH Marina to secure the area during training. UPDATE ** This operation has been canceled due to weather. **

U.S. Army Conducts Suppressed Rifle Night Operations at Pu’uloa Range Training Facility

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAI’I – The U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division (25th ID) will be conducting day and night training exercises involving suppressed rifle fire at the Pu’uloa Range Training Facility (PRTF) from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. HST through Mar. 3-5, 2026. This training is crucial for enhancing the U.S. Army’s operational readiness by simulating both daytime and nighttime rifle exercises, increasing rifle proficiency.

MCBH Wastewater Exceedance

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAI’I –On February 9, 2026, severe weather and heavy rain caused the Marine Corps Base Hawai’i (MCBH) Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WRF) to release effluent with bacteria levels that exceeded permit limits.

Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay -- The Hawaii Air National Guard will be conducting exercise Sentry Aloha May 29th-June 6th aboard MCAS Kaneohe Bay. Sentry Aloha is an exercise that provides realistic combat training for Hawaii based service members, enabling them to perform homeland defense and combat missions

A MESSAGE FROM INSTALLTION PROTECTION - Hurricane Kiko Information and Resources

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII - Hurricane Kiko is forecast to approach the Hawaiian Islands during the early to middle portion of next week. (Sept. 7-13, 2025) Impacts from rain and wind remain a possibility, but it is too soon to determine the exact location or magnitude of these impacts. MCBH PUBLIC NOISE ADVISORY - The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are preparing for the 2025 Kaneohe Bay Air Show at MCBH

MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII - As the 2025 Kaneohe Bay Air Show approaches, the U.S. Navy 'Blue Angels' aerial demonstration team will be practicing their air show routine, Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, from 1130 - 1630. The Blue Angels will also be performing on Military Appreciation Day, open to all service members scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, 2025. The 2025 Kaneohe Bay Air Show is scheduled for Aug. 9-10, where the Blue Angels will headline the show.

Overnight camping at Bellows suspended for the return of nesting sea turtles

O‘AHU – With the sea turtle (honu) nesting period approaching the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), in conjunction with Marine Corps Base Hawai‘i (MCBH), will be suspending overnight camping for Bellows Field Beach Park from Wednesday, April 30 through Thursday, August 28, 2025.

MCBH DANGEROUS SURF ADVISORY 19-23 Dec.

Lifeguards are on notice for a dangerous surf approaching from the NNW that may affect MCBH beaches starting tomorrow, 19 Dec through Monday, 23 Dec. Lifeguards will set beach conditions to red flag should the swells exceed safety limits.
