MCBH PUBLIC NOISE ADVISORY - The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are preparing for the 2025 Kaneohe Bay Air Show at MCBH
MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII - As the 2025 Kaneohe Bay Air Show approaches, the U.S. Navy 'Blue Angels' aerial demonstration team will be practicing their air show routine, Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, from 1130 - 1630. The Blue Angels will also be performing on Military Appreciation Day, open to all service members scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8, 2025. The 2025 Kaneohe Bay Air Show is scheduled for Aug. 9-10, where the Blue Angels will headline the show.

Overnight camping at Bellows suspended for the return of nesting sea turtles
O‘AHU – With the sea turtle (honu) nesting period approaching the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), in conjunction with Marine Corps Base Hawai‘i (MCBH), will be suspending overnight camping for Bellows Field Beach Park from Wednesday, April 30 through Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay -- The Hawaii Air National Guard will be conducting exercise Sentry Aloha May 29th-June 6th aboard MCAS Kaneohe Bay. Sentry Aloha is an exercise that provides realistic combat training for Hawaii based service members, enabling them to perform homeland defense and combat missions. Hawaii Based MV-22 Squadrons Return to Flight Status
MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – As early as next week, Hawaii-based MV-22 Osprey squadrons assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, expect to begin executing flight operations as the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has deemed the aircraft safe to fly. The MV-22 squadrons will adhere to the Marine Corps’ three-phased approach, which begins with a focus on regaining proficiency in Core and Basic skills for pilots and aircrew. Squadrons will then follow well-established training and readiness manuals, standard operating procedures, and best practices to demonstrate the skills reinforced in phase one. Upon completion of the first two phases of skill development and demonstration, squadrons will progress toward conducting specific pre-deployment training programs – to include flight operations in the local area – in preparation for their next assigned missions.

Waterfront Operations will be executing a small-scale Hazardous Spill Response Drill from 0900-1200 on Nov. 17.
