Sergeant Santiago Kaites, platoon sergeant, Storage, Supply Company, Combat Service Support Group-3 points out to Lance Cpl. Andrea Vela, warehouseman, Storage, Supply Company, CSSG-3, the correct way to plant Polynesian Taro. Kaites and Vela spent the morning digging holes deep enough to plant the taro plants. Marines from Combat Service Support Group-3, Marine Forces Pacific, Veterans of Foriegn Wars post 1572, wives and girlfriends gather together to beautify the Waipahu Cultural Center Aug. 6. The volunteers spent the morning planting vegitation, cutting down trees and clearing debris to create more garden areas.
