U.S. Navy combination caps and chief petty officer charge book vessels are displayed during the fiscal year 2024 Chief Petty Officer Class-130 Pinning Ceremony at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Sept. 29, 2023. The pinning ceremony was the culmination of an intense six-week training period where the Navy's senior enlisted leaders introduced the chief petty officer selectees to a set of challenges designed to strengthen their leadership and mentoring abilities. 13 Sailors were pinned, and two Marines were awarded honorary chief petty officer at the ceremony.
