U.S. Marines with Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, escort Margaret Turner, an Australian veteran who served in the Women’s Auxiliary Australian Air Force during World War II, to her seat during a commemorative service in honor of Australian and New Zealand Army Corps Day at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, April 25, 2023. The service was held to commemorate the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I, and to recognize the sacrifices and service of the Anzac forces.
