MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII — Service members cheer on the jousting participants during the 101 Days of Summer Field Meet Unit Challenge held at Riseley Field aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Aug. 21, 2015. Hosted by Marine Corps Community Services Hawaii, the field meet was composed of a combat obstacle course, jousting, truck tire flip race, tug of war, 880-meter relay race and big trike relay. The field meet was held to promote health and wellness within the MCB Hawaii community, as well build camaraderie between various units around the base. Service members could earn points in the 101 Days of Summer Program by participating in this event. Events such as this help support the mission of MCCS Hawaii, which is to contribute to the readiness and retention of Marines, Sailors and families aboard MCB Hawaii by providing fitness and recreation programs, as well as business activities in garrison and deployed environments.
