Lance Cpl. Stetson Bridges, an automatic rifleman with India Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, and Lubbock, Texas, native, patrols Boondocker Training Area with his squad while practicing various signals, tactics and maneuvers aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Aug. 24, 2015. The purpose of the training was to prepare the company’s Marines at the squad level, ensuring they are able to efficiently and effectively perform squad attacks and movements. By preparing their Marines for a combat environment, 3rd Bn., 3rd Marines, helps support the mission of MCB Hawaii, which is to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
