Jessica Agnew (left), a wish granter at Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii, teaches Nahla Nepaulsingh, 4, how to build a snowman outside of Hangar 375, Aug. 1, 2015. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Hawaii and MALS-24 hosted a party to announce that Nahla’s wish was granted, and she and her family will be going to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., in September. The Marines, Sailors and families played in makeshift snow and enjoyed refreshments during the celebration. Nahla was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in September 2014. The Nepaulsingh family also raised money for the American Cancer Society while participating in the Relay for Life of Windward Oahu event at Kailua High School, July 11. The mission of Marine Corps Base Hawaii is to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
