Marine Corps Base Hawaii
Project Power, Produce Readiness, Promote Resiliency, Protect Resources

Jul 28, 2015

Seaman Johnta Minor, a boatswain with Water Front Operations, applies a fresh coat of paint to the fading parking lines during the Jump Start Aikahi clean up at Aikahi Elementary School, July 22, 2015. More than 50 students, service members from Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and local volunteers from the Kailua community came together to clean up Aikahi Elementary School before the start of the new school year. When service members from Marine Corps Base Hawaii help the community it helps the overall mission of the base to provide facilities, programs and services in direct support of units, individuals and families in order to enhance and sustain combat readiness for all operating forces and tenant organizations aboard the installation.
