Service members aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii attended a College 101 education brief, hosted by the Education Center, May 6, 2015, in classroom A in building 220. The brief was intended to provide information and procedures for utilizing tuition assistance, as well as making the transition into the school setting easier for service members. Scott Fisher, the shortstop of 1st Battalion 12th Marine Regiment’s Kings of Battle, regains his feet after he rounds third base after a deep ball into the outfield April 20, 2015, at Riseley Field. Marines speak with several Marine & Family Programs representatives during the Front Porch event, April 15, 2015, at Dewey Square aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The purpose of the event was to help raise awareness about Marine & Family Programs while, at the same time, promoting cohesion within the community. Battery Bluff, the new urban terrain, unknown-distance range aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, is officially up and running as of March 5, 2015. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment and soldiers with 563rd Engineer Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, Schofield Barracks were the first service members to put shots down the newly constructed range.
