Battery Bluff, the new urban terrain, unknown-distance range aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, is officially up and running as of March 5, 2015. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment and soldiers with 563rd Engineer Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, Schofield Barracks were the first service members to put shots down the newly constructed range. A team rushes through the first obstacle in Marine Corps Base Hawaii’s 21st annual Swamp Romp Feb. 7, 2015 at Landing Zone Boondocker. This race is the second in the Commanding Officer’s Fitness Series and is 5 miles long. Swamp Romp, which was open to the public, included low crawls, mud pits and climbing walls.
