BAE volunteers assemble bikes for Toys for Tots
16 Nov 2012
Volunteers from BAE systems will assemble 180 bicycles for local children at the Toys for Tots Dole Cannery warehouse Saturday, Nov. 3.

Throughout December the bikes and other toy donations will be given to local non-profit organizations working with the Salvation Army to be distributed to children for the holidays.

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.

Media representatives wanting to cover the event must R.S.V.P. with the MCB Hawaii media office by 4:30 p.m., Nov. 2, and the location will be disclosed.  The event begins at 8:45 a.m., Nov. 3 in Honolulu.
