Marine Corps Base Hawaii -- On June 15, 2018, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) was made aware of allegations of potential non-compliance with an established Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MCBH and the State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural
Resources (DLNR). Immediately following, MCBH contacted DLNR to ensure compliance with the MOU, and DLNR confirmed it would comply with the established MOU.
MCBH has undertaken an investigation to ensure full compliance with the existing MOU, and federal and state law and regulation.
We look forward to maintaining a positive relationship with the State of Hawaii, DLNR, which allows the parties to lawfully and ethically fulfill our separate missions.
